I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
I study the comparative politics of established democracies at both the mass and elite levels. My research examines the political consequences of immigration, extremism, crime, and changing patterns of political representation. My work has appeared or is forthcoming in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the European Journal of Political Research, the European Political Science Review, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. My book, co-authored with Rafaela Dancygier and Jonathan Homola, examines state responses to political extremism and is published by Cambridge University Press (Elements in European Politics). My research has been recognized with the Best Graduate Student Paper Award from APSA’s Migration and Citizenship Section.
I received my Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University.
